Oh boy, experience is such a wonderful teacher, isn't she? Giving us the test first and the lesson afterwards. Ha, reminds me of someone I know, someone WE AA sophomores know SO much. Algebra, anyone? That test is so challenging it pleases me so much that it exercises out brain, it didn't even take the whole period to answer it because it took the passion out of me and I just wrote what I wanted. I actually like the way Ms. G teaches us, it's very entertaining, with her smile and all that. I love her! I just love her! And I am Princess Diana. LOL. How I loathed that test, I found out about the certain rules about what comes first and what comes last two minutes before the test. I shall quit ratting about the incapability of my teacher to teach. No matter how MUCH I would like to go on, nope, I shall stop.
Oh yeah, btw, I wrote all the quotes found on that wonder of a book called Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants: Forever in Blue. Shall I share it with you? I guess, it's some sort of a title for each chapter, how original. I ♥ Ann Brashares, she's a f*cking GENIUS. Her books are full of insight, here's an excerpt: the book is with Mandy right now, I hope she finishes it SOON, I REALLY want to talk to someone about it. Anyone read it? Anyway, here are some of my favorites excerpts:
-The only true paradise is paradise lost *So wala talagang paradise? Or does that mean that you can't ever go back to paradise since it certainly won't last forever?
-Fill what is empty, empty what is full, scratch where it itches *Ahh, the confusing irony of life, and the simplicity of it!
-Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional *Yes, certainly. See the BEST side of everything huh?
-Right now, I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before *Ehehe, reading AP book?
-Always carry a flagoon in case of a snakebite, and furthermore, always carry a small snake *Paranoid people out there? Don't overdo it huh? :-)
-And if the blind lead the blind, they shall both fall into the ditch *Wag nang ipilit, magpatulong ka sa marunong para matuto ka. :) To be able to learn, surround yourself with people smarter than you, instead of bragging your intelligence when you're with people not smarter than you.
-You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you mad *See? Another irony. How many times did we ask people to tell us the whole truth yet deep inside we don't want it, really, coz it's gonna hurt SO bad.
-Illusions are art, for the deeling persong, and it is by art that you love, if you do *I shall live by illusions, to keep myself happy. Ilusyonada.
-Bouncing is for balls *Get off sluts!
-Crazy is what crazy do *So don't you dare judge me for being weird my dears. ;)
Okay, just an observation, all those, or almost all anyway, are sarcastic quotes. Oh yeah, I'm a sarcastic persona, I just love love sarcasm. :-) Sorry ;-) I listed those down while having English, kaya wala akong notes sa Expository AT Persuasive.
As promised, here's the thing about contraceptives. AMBUSH INFORMATION! Yeah.
Ms. Clarete gave us lectures months back, didn't she? Contraceptives KILL babies because it destroys/collapses the uterus where the zygote will embed itself, therefore destroying the life that formed. Contraceptives are just like abortion.
TENTENENENTENEN! Comes the Medical-Dental Mission.
According to the doctor I assisted:
Contraceptives simply prevent life from forming, it blocks the sperm so it would not meet the egg. Life only begin once the sperm and the egg meet, so technically, there is no life and contraceptives do NOT kill life because there is NO life. Clear? If you see a kid on the streets murmuring "Ate, beynte-singko po." Who are you going to blame? Number one, the parents. Number two? The catholic priests for they are the ones against the practical way of family planning, contraceptives. They promote rhythm, to have contact only when the woman is not fertile, but how are these poor families supposed to know about this? How are they supposed to know about their cycle when they can NOT affored education? You can not teach that overnight. Contraceptives is a practical way to lessen the number of unwanted pregnancies, and it does not kill life, it prevents it.
It got me REALLY thinking, which side am I on? Brainwash, brainwash. I actually sort of believed the doctor because his thinking was quite reasonable. But still it bothered me, and so I asked Ms. Clarete during CLE. Ahihi. It was a WHEW! At last, clarity. Clarete = Clarity! Nyak ang corny, sorry na. :-P
According to Ms. Clarity Clarete:
Contraceptives does end life, it leaves no home for the zygote as it collapses the uterus. The government promotes contraceptives, they have their doctors, they will not readily tell the public that contraceptives kill life. They promote rhythm instead. Married couples are allowed to have contact even though they do not really intend to have a baby, provided that they do it not with contraceptives but following rhythm. But hold on a minute, when a married couple have contact without the intention of having a baby during unfertile instances, isn't that just the same as having contact during fertile instances with contraceptives? Who are we to believe about science and biology, a doctor or a CLE teacher? It's just a matter of luck or timing, it's still all about PLEASURE and expression of love. What is so wrong with that? I actually got the answer earlier this day. We as Catholics must learn not to disrupt the natural processes of the human reproductive system, it's a gift that we shall be able to control. Couples must learn the art of discipline. Now for the last question, what about the people who did not have opportunities to learn about these things, are they sinning? The answer is NO. Again, it is about full knowledge, they do not know about these things, contraceptive use was what was taught as right. That is what they know, we can not punish them for something they are not aware about.
Today are one of those rare days that I actually leaned something from CLE listened to anything we discussed in CLE. I love it. Yay. :-> All the other days, I use up the time to review, doodle, read, doodle, rewrite notes, doodle, talk, doodle, sleep, doodle, write on my planner, and did I mention doodle? :-) Here are some stuff I doodled the past months, I'm not sure if they're all during CLE, but MOST are.
