Jen's peculiar phone

Jen aka Elaine, Kam, Bianca

Bianca and Jeanelle :D

Bianca and Eunice, for some reason she
really reminds me of Thea ni Pau. =)) That expression on her face is quite identical to the one I first saw in Thea's face. ;) Ang galing.

Tita Tuyang and her red lipstick! Her daily routine: A) Wake up, put on
lipstick. B) Brush her teeth, reapply
lipstick. C) Reaplly
lipstick and wash the clothes. D) Reapply
lipstick and drink from her
hidden collection of softdrinks. Bawal kasi siya ng soft drinks and coffee, kaya tinatago niya sa mga tumbler at nilalagay sa ref. Tapos mahuhuli ng mga apo niya. HAHA! Nakalagay sa ref yung mga baso,
nasa sink daw pag hinahanap nina Jen at Elieza, only to find out na nakatago nga sa ref. Then reapply the
lipstick. E) Reapply
lipstick before
going to BED! F) Sleep and wake up the next morning to apply her
red lipstick.

My feet are NUMB. Good friday is translated as new white blouse, feet throbbing, candle wax ending up on my feet, and prusisyon.
Oh boy, good thing I didn't make up a consequence for me not being able to help myself from chitchatting. We got to May-iba kind of late, around 15 minutes after the procession began but we caught up with them. We walked to the church and we listened to mass. Weird, today, they didn't have the usual stations of the cross. When I was a kid I was one of the two girls who bring and take away the images to and from the altar. Apparently, that nasty custom that takes too much time has been hastily erased. Another constant reminder of change, eh? I don't think I like the idea of the customs being so easily disregarded.
Oh well, here's what happened during that 3 hours that I walked with my cousins and their cousins which I figured are also my cousins.
1) We were caughte by my Mom having, shall we say, vanity attacks. It was shameful, really. We were being very...vain. With Elaine's phone first, but when my Mom looked at us, it was my phone we're using. Talk about guilty.
2) My cousins were singing behind us. Well, my cousin with his cousin I doubt is mine too is singing. Mom shot them a look. They stared dumbfounded on the road after that. Lucky for the girls, we, err, they weren't caught reapplying their glosses. I didn't. ;) (Mainly because that Vinyl Lip gloss Nanay Belen got me is very long-lasting, but still.)
3) My Mom finally got us to pray the rosary, and we obliged. We were so into it we didn't notice four young girls about our age, but desperately smaller, mocking us. "Hail Mary full of grace blah blah blah!" with cocky laughter. Elieza noticed them first and looked at Elaine aka Jen. Haha, itong sirang si Jen pinatulan. Pumunta sa dalawang naka-pink at kinausap, "Huwag nga kayo rito, hindi pa kayo marunong magdasal? Nakakabastos kayo a!". Jen, of course, was on one or two inches shorter than I am, while the two frantic girls were much, much smaller. "Hindi naman po kami iyon eh! Sila o!" *sabay turo sa dalawang naka-white*. "Eh ano naman, grupo niyo naman!" The girls looked rueful and our group couldn't quite conceal our laughter when they started to move ahead. Well, what they didn't know was that they were moving closer to my Mom. And, being the bitches that we are, moved forward too, pretending to be going to Mommy while trying to torture them all along. Then they moved forward some more, closer to my Dad, and my whole group went to my Dad. HA HA! Nakakaawa yung mga itsura nila. That's what they get for crossing us, with Jen to begin the assault, and me to finish it. With all my cousins laughing and stealing glances their way in between. Bitches.
4) I learned quite a number of unladylike words.
-Busteng (hambog)
-Chuwa (pinsan)
-Nomo (inom)
and I didn't quite succeed on grasping more. =))
5) Ate Jen began talking to this guy while my arm was linked to Kamil. Partner, partner. And there were 3 little girls in front of us (cousins too) whowere giggling.
Jen: Uy, Glenny Anne, bakit ka ganyan, yieee. May gusto ka kay Epoy ano?
Glen: HINDI AH! *giggles* Yuck!
Bianca and Kam: Yiee, EPOY pala ha!
And we continued the teasing until I realized that I didn't know who Epoy was.
Bianca: Kam, sino yung Epoy?
Kam: Yung kausap ni Ate Jen.
Bianca: Jen! Sino si Epoy? (enough for the guy beside her to hear)
Jen: ABA! (laughter, I later found out that Epoy was the guy beside her)
We were laughing really hard when Jen's slippers came off. She was looking for the culprit while Kam and I laughed and rushed forward. Si Kamille yung nakatapak. =)) HAHAHAHA!
6) May mama na nakikipagdaldalan at nabangga sa sign na nakalagay "Be Careful". Stupid.
7) Mama Nel was wearing this rather reavealing top (while Mom pointed out laughingly that what I was wearing was closed neck down :p) and announced that it was hot. Mom offered her fan (decorated with The Divine Mercy).
Mama Nel: Nako, nakakahiya yata kung gagamitin ko iyan na ganto suot ko!
HAHAHAHA.
And after that we walked, and not until we were 5 minutes away from the house where we would be eating dinner with the whole clan did we realize that we could ride the tricycle. ;) Ahaha! Then we eased ourselves from the burden of our legs.
I did not sleep until 8:30 AM, mainly because I was reading a book by Judie McNaught (Almost Heaven), but also because my left lower leg and feet were throbbing with indespicable pain. Goodness, it hurt real bad.
By 6AM Mom knocked on my door to ask if I wanted to come with her. She's going to Quiapo to hear mass. :> Well, I pretended to be really drowsy, and gave her a truth (my head was throbbing along with my leg) so I went back to bed. Hmm, I would've gone with her, damn this leg and temple.
And, by 6:30 AM, my Dad was knocking (quite loudly may I add) on our door. He just came to give us a hug and bid us good bye. The sweet father's going to China. He just wanted to give us a hug! Aww. :) I was touched. Bye Dad, he'll be returning either on Tuesday or Wednesday. He's looking at some factory there, I think, I have no idea why. MADAYA. I want to come too.
I shall go back to bed (reading my books, or my mother's). Alright, toodles.
Oh, I might go to Pam's on Tuesday, she just asked me. But I still haven't asked for permission! :D
AND Tennis, Tennis! Jesus, help me. My Dad's not here and I haven't told him of the details yet. Stupid, stupid, me.
