I hate my sister's skates. :-/
Monday, April 16, 2007

I do not like skating. I started reading Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice for the adorable summer reading list. But I fell asleep because I was really extremely sleepy. I must be noting the number of chocolates I actually eat everyday, it seems that it's all I eat. I ate it for breakfast (Lindt White) and dinner (same bar). For lunch, however, I ate Pork Tonkatsu, then Chef Tony popcorn. Everytime I eat Kettle Corn (any brand) I start throwing up. But it's delicious! Aww. Oh well. I'll sacrifice, I still eat it. Oh, the weirdest english sentence to that one can ever say is Admit it. For us Pinoys anyway. It sounds like Admetet. I still hate skating. Well, honestly, the thought of it excites me, but my sister's constant blabbering about her getting new skates just gets me my nerves pop. Jesus. I was painting today and she went to my space, started telling the instructors that I was groggy because I slept late last night. She said I was texting and using the PC which is NOT true! I was reading a book! I don't even text anymore! It's annoying.

I have 4 little paintings today. All in the shades of burnt umber. They're statues of heads without faces, just to get the concept of lighting. It was frustrating to do so, it was annoyingly difficult to capture the light of the heads. Why is that so? It's just the same as still life. Crappy, crappy, time there. Everything was getting on my nerves I didn't have the heart to continue. I didn't even take the, uh, what do you call this? Uh, I didn't even have the strength to laugh at Sir Andy's jokes. :) I was laughing inside but I couldn't show it because I felt really, truly weak. I hate failure. I don't want to fail this exercise. Oh. Then Sir Andy started to help me by taking the painting away and showing it to me from a distance, it started to look good. Excellent, in fact! The contrast was amazingly clear. I learned that I shoul perhaps have patience more than anything else in the world if I want to be serious in this thing I like doing (painting.) We also did one serious painting. It was just a face, a neck, and lots of hair. It looked pretty ghostly to me, it was very chalky. I was trembling when I started, I haven't painted people in years, and the last time I did was with watercolor!!! And this is oil. But with my teacher's help and encouragement (especially during the times all I could do was stare at my brush, tears very near the brink of my eyes), I managed to do it! We're not totally done with it, we'll be adding color on Wednesday, when the paint has settled. I used up all my black and burnt umber tubes. So I had to get some this afternoon.

I finished an hour and a half late, at 1:30 PM. But it was worth it, I think. We went to Megamall for Arianne's skating. Arianne and Migo was there, oh God. You know the House of Carter's? The TV show? Nick reminds me so much of myself, that's exactly how I act with my siblings. And the way Angel, BJ and Leslie treats each other is exactly how Migo and Arianne behaves, sometimes Trish fights with Migo too. It sucks. And anyway, she kept talking about her new skates.

I saw this really cute guy. :x He looks half Australian and half Filipino. Okay, I'm sure he's half Pinoy, I saw his mother. ;) Hihihi. I stole my first glance at the skating rink. I was trying to look at Bobby Andrews (tama ba?) at the skating rink but I saw this guy instead. Thump, thump. Then I went up to Yoshinoya with Mom, and I saw him again!!! Hihi! Fate! Asa. Anyway, we went to National but I didn't buy anything. I was looking at the books for SRL but somehow I didn't buy anything. Then we went to fetch Arianne from her skating, and guess what! I saw Mr. Brown Eyes again! Oh. My. God. He's tall! And cute. He doesn't look like an all American boy. I'm in love. Ha Ha Ha. =)) Asa. =)) Then he left. We smiled at each other! YIEE. =)) Happy. Good bye Mr. Brown Eyes. He left with his Mom and Dad and brother and probably cousins. Okay, find another Prom Date prospect. On hunt. On waiting. Oh when I was in Grade School, I had this crush that looks like Mr. Brown Eyes. He's Mr. Orange Guy. =)) Loser. I know. SORRY NA.

Oh, then we brought Migo to his OT in Marikina, but I slept all the way there. I read part of the book but I couldn't remain awake. Some potion was pulling my eyelids lower, lower, lower, shut. When I woke up, we were at Robinsons Metro East, just so we could buy my burnt umber and black, as well as the Art Guard for my hands. It's some sort of solution that I'll use as a lotion to protect my skin from the pigments that would cause cancer. Hmm, Office Warehouse didn't have them. National Bookstore wasn't open yet (Oh yeah BABY, may book store na sa Metro East. :-/) So we had to go to Q Plaza's National to get the paint. We got the paint alright. The Black tube costs P32, it was Marie's. And the Burnt Umber costs a damn P88.25! It was just a SMALL tube! But I guess the color is very strong much like Viridian Hue's strength and I can use it to mix with white and still have strong colors. I'm talking Lanconian now, I'll go back to English. I got a book from the summer reading list. The Age of Innocence. I still have a LOT to go here. I'm planning to read everything.
  1. Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare
  2. Around the World in 80 Days by Jules Verne
  3. Beowulf by Burton Raffel
  4. Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky
  5. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
  6. Little Women by Luisa May Alcott
  7. Great Expectations by Charles Dicken
  8. Macbeth by William Shakespeare
  9. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Auster
  10. The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton
  11. The Canterburry Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer
  12. The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
  13. Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
  14. Lord of the Flies by William Golding
  15. The Great Gatsby by Fitzgerald F. Scott
  16. Son of a Witch by Gregory Maguire
  17. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time by Mark Haddon

I have 2 out of 17? Ha. Nice going Bianca, dear. TSK. I must, I must, I must buy these books. =)) I promise. Cara, Isa, Deeds! Imma get the books too! =)) Hahaha! You must, you must, finish it. You must wait for me. Please? Command there. ;) Kidding. Kidding. That was a threat. Okay? Okay.

Anyway, I spent my day at home doing icons. I did Maan's! But I'm not yet clear about what banner I'll be doing for her. I did the stuff from tutorials. Isa's links. ;) Hehe. Anyway, here they are:

Oh, I have to go. I forgot that I was to clean my brushes with detergent and remove all the possible taces of paint found inside or outside the bristles! Irresponsible BITCH. :-)

Toodles!
